Yesterday KC and I went to a Bass pro Shop in Denver and bought a Spot...a satellite based tracking device that will allow us to "drop electronic bread crumbs" which will permit friends and family to track the route we are riding. It also allows us to send a satellite message to notify others that we're OK or that we need help. Comforting for all to know we can request helicopters to bail us out of a jam.

Today we head for the mountains with Lucy and Ethel...we're all excited to be in the high country. Great views and cool temps!!!
